School Based Therapist (QMHP)

Education: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field is required

Description: The School-Based Therapist will be responsible for providing services related to the delivery of mental health care to assigned clients at East Side College Preparatory School.  School Based Therapist will provide consultation services to the school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school. The therapist provides direct mental health services to include intake assessment, individual/family/group therapy, and crisis intervention and 90 day assessments/updates to all assigned clients. Therapist will provide consultation for school staff regarding mental health issues of clients (as appropriate).  Therapist will maintain 55% face to face billable hours and provide complete and timely documentation according to agency guidelines. Therapist will maintain regular contact with the parent/guardian of each client. .  Integral Care uses a computerized medical records system.  Applicants must have strong computer skills.

Knowledge/Skills:

Must possess a strong knowledge of the common diagnoses and treatment for school-aged children and possess the skills necessary to facilitate positive change in a school environment.

License: Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required. 

Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday.

Salary:  Starting Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) salary is at $38,479-$40,739 based on education, but internal applicants are subject to Integral Care's QMHP career ladder.
