Pharmacist

Job Summary: The Pharmacist directs and supervises the overall operation of the pharmacy contract, including the pharmacy quality assurance program at Integral Care. Coordinates activities to assure that drug therapy with the facility complies with departmental rules and contemporary medical practice. Ensures the compliances of the medication services operation with all applicable federal and state law, including departmental policies and procedures, Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations, ICF/MR regulations and JCAHO standards. Provide drug information to clients. Assures that patient counseling requirement are met. Provides drug information and education for health care professionals. Oversees center involvement in pharmaceutical company patient assistance programs. 

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.

License: 

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record. 
  • Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Texas.

Experience: 

Preferred: 

  • Five years experience, preferably in a community health setting. 

Hours: Full-Time 

Workdays: Monday-Friday. 

Workhours: 8:00am-5:00pm. 

Salary: $106,564 - $135,858 annually depending on years of licensure.
