Job Summary: A qualified mental health professional (QMHP) is one of the clinical team staff within a multi-disciplinary team, providing crisis assessments and client centered care for adults experiencing a mental health crisis episode. This crisis residential unit provides optional support for immediate crisis stabilization services as an alternative diversion from in-patient hospitalization and/or incarceration due to need of crisis breakdown stabilization. Crisis residential services are designed to be time-limited, intensive case management and geared to establish safety, attainable goals, and person-centered, ongoing treatment planning in collaboration with our clients. In addition to engaging clients in daily interactions, to include mental health and/or life skills groups, they will also facilitate community-based resources, ongoing services linkage, and transition of care, as well as conduct risk assessment, goal-based and safety discharge planning. We strive to assist with immediate clinical stabilization to ensure client care and safety, making the greatest amount of impact in a short period of time while giving the right care during their greatest time of needs.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Salary: $22.35 - $23.47 an hour based on education plus an additional 10% Crisis Stipend.
