Job Summary: The jail liaison/community hybrid plays a critical role on Integral Care's Expanded Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (EMCOT), providing professional, trauma-informed, and culturally competent mental health care to adults currently at Travis County Correctional Complex (TCCC) and Central Booking (CB) identified to have mental health concerns. This position also supports emergent response for other partners (LEO, EMS, the 911 Call Center) in the community. The jail liaison is responsible for responding to referrals from jail counseling, client attorneys, judges, and internal referrals to assess the needs of these individuals with the goal of connecting them to mental health care services upon release or as part of bond condition. The jail liaison works closely with defense attorneys and Travis County Sherrif's Office Crisis Intervention Team to communicate the outcome of the assessment and coordinate placement at one of Integral Care's respite/residential facilities or inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, as needed. The jail liaison is responsible for conducting on-site crisis intervention and assessments, suicide risk assessments, safety planning, and referral services. EMCOT provides flexible services and support to individuals who are not currently connected to mental health services, aiming to help maintain stability, prevent further crisis and arrest, and provide connection to ongoing mental health services.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

• Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.

License:

Required:

• Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday-Wednesday & Friday, or Monday - Tuesday & Thursday - Friday.

Workhours: 12:00PM - 10:00PM.

Salary: $24.18 - $25.39 an hour based on education, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.

Position may be eligible for an additional shift differential pay.

• Second Shift: $3.25/hour.
• Third Shift: $7.25/hour.
• Weekend Shift: $8.00/hour.

This position requires in-person, on-site presence at designated locations in Travis County, Texas, which may be scheduled or on short notice, to support agency operations. All work performed by this position must be performed in the State of Texas.
