Job Summary: The Family Partner is a person with lived experience parenting a child experiencing mental, emotional, or behavioral health challenges and who can articulate their understanding of their experience with another parent or family member. The Family Partner provides information, referrals, advocacy, informal support, peer mentoring, and education services to parents and caregivers of youth receiving crisis and behavioral health services through the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) and Youth Crisis Outreach Team (YCOT).
As a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, the Family Partner works toward improving outcomes for youth and families by helping caregivers navigate systems of care, strengthening family engagement, promoting resiliency, and empowering families to actively participate in treatment and recovery planning. The Family Partner provides education regarding process rights, community resources, trainings, support systems, peer networks, and available services while drawing upon their own lived experience to foster trust, understanding, and hope.
This position works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Hours: Full - Time.
Workdays: Monday - Friday, some weekends.
Workhours: 10:00AM - 8:00PM or 12:00PM - 10:00PM.
Salary: $23.03 per hour, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
