Job Summary: The QMHP Team Lead is responsible for leading the team's service delivery and ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective. The QMHP Lead operates in a dynamic environment, develops extensive knowledge of community resources, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and cultivates a clinical skill-set by forging therapeutic relationships with diverse community members. The QMHP Lead participates in diagnostic evaluations and provides assessment of strengths, preferences, functional impairments and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s) to ensure optimal and personalized services. The QMHP Lead identifies and implements strategies for ongoing program development and achievement of unit performance measures and engages staff to ensure the highest quality of care and effective use of provider staff time and resources. This position is responsible for oversight of assigned program and personnel and may carry an individual case load.
The QMHP Team Lead will respond to all issues related to the provision of a low demand, 24 hour transitional shelter for homeless veterans. The primary purpose of the position is to supervise residents in order to maintain appropriate structure and safety with some ability to perform rehabilitative client care work. Activities will be directed toward providing a safe therapeutic environment where residents can establish a trusting relationship with each other, the staff and the program. Position requires staff to monitor clients, enforce facility rules, manage client behaviors, de-escalate clients who are upset, intervene in crises, engage clients in social and developmental activities. The QMHP Team Lead works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Salary: $28.53 an hour plus an additional 10% crisis service stipend.
