School Based Therapist (QMHP)

Job Summary: The School-based Therapist will be located in Pflugerville ISD responsible for providing services related to the delivery of mental health care to assigned clients at the designated school location and will provide consultation services to the school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school. The therapist provides direct mental health services to include intake assessment, individual/family/group skills training, and crisis intervention.  Therapist will provide consultation for school staff regarding mental health issues of clients (as appropriate).  Therapist will maintain 55% face to face billable hours and provide complete and timely documentation according to agency guidelines. Therapist will maintain regular contact with the parent/guardian of each client. Integral Care  uses a computerized medical records system.  Applicants must have strong computer skills.  This is a great position for an LMSW, LPCA or LMFTA looking to obtain their hours towards licensure. 

On-call responsibilities may be required dependent upon unit protocols. This position may have additional duties associated with providing bilingual communication services and requires the completion of a language competency test.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. 

License: 

Required:

  • Center certification (QHMP-CS) to perform psychosocial rehabilitative skills training and case management is required. 
  • Integral Care Drivers must have a current and valid Texas driver's license and be approved for automobile liability coverage under the Fund.
  • All staff who provide face-to-face support to clients as a regular function of their position must maintain current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Hours: Full-time; Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Salary$22.35 - $23.47 an hour based on education.
