Job Summary: Under the direction of the Reimbursement Director, the Client Accounts Coordinator serves as the primary link between the Reimbursement Department and the agency's client-facing staff who collect and document financial information. The Coordinator communicates billing and documentation requirements, ensures financial information is entered accurately into the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and works with Learning and Development and other internal partners to develop, update, and deliver training for staff responsible for capturing client financial data. The role supports and reinforces agency, state, and federal compliance standards related to client financial documentation.
The Client Accounts Coordinator conducts routine audits of financial records, identifies errors or gaps, recommends corrective actions, and tracks the progress of improvements. The role collaborates with the Revenue Cycle Manager, Accounts Receivable Team, and Senior Billing Supervisor to resolve issues impacting eligibility accuracy, benefits verification, and clean claim submission. The Coordinator also works with staff who assist clients in securing medical coverage to ensure all information in the system remains current, compliant, and reliable.
In addition, the Client Accounts Coordinator responds to client questions about their statements, manages return calls and voicemails, and oversees processes that ensure client balances are accurate prior to the generation and mailing of statements. The role is responsible for meeting productivity milestones set by the Reimbursement Director and supports the broader revenue cycle through consistent, compliant, high-quality financial documentation practices across the agency.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.
