Program Manager Job Summary: The Home and Community-Based Services (HCS) waiver program provides robust services and supports to individuals diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in Travis County. Integral Care provides service coordination of the HCS waiver program which includes:

1.  Robust assessment to support treatment planning (i.e., person directed planning).

2.  Coordination of services including the identification of service gaps and referral needs.

3.  Ongoing monitoring of services to ensure they are occurring, are helping the individual progress towards their identified goals, and that the individual is satisfied with their services.

4.  Crisis management thru the coordination of services to support individuals with IDD remain safely and happily in the community.

The HCS Program Manager will be a content expert about the HCS waiver program and responsible for ensuring the program meets Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) standards for quality and compliance.  Additionally, the Program Manager will provide ongoing training and support to staff to build and maintain the team's capacity to meet expectations and grow professionally. 

This position is responsible for providing management of all functions of assigned areas. Program management includes oversight of the daily operations, contractual obligations, and quality assurance. The position is responsible for providing sound leadership and supervision, assisting with the area budget, continuously improving service practices, and participating in Center and community-wide planning. Performs work duties with high degree of autonomy. Completes functions as directed by the Practice Manager or designee.

Program Manager Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

Preferred:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

Program Manager License: 

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record. 

Program Manager Experience:

Required: 

  • Two years of experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities, mobility impairments, dual diagnoses, and/or hearing impairments.

Preferred: 

  • Two years of experience in behavioral programming and development/implementation of person-directed planning, as applicable.

Hours:  Full-time; Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Salary:  $72,789- $77,862 annually depending on experience.
