Job Summary: Employment Specialist provide employment skills training to individuals who may also have co-occurring substance use disorders and/or chronic health conditions utilizing a recovery based and trauma-informed perspective. Employment Specialists operate in a dynamic environment, develop extensive knowledge of community resources, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and cultivate a clinical skill-set by forging therapeutic relationships with diverse community members. Services are typically provided in the community and require the use of a personal automobile and cell phone.
Employment Specialist work in partnership with racially and culturally diverse individuals to define and facilitate their desired life/employment outcomes. Employment Specialists participate in diagnostic evaluations and provide assessment of strengths, preferences, functional impairments and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s) at regular intervals to ensure optimal and personalized services. Frequent service coordination with external and internal providers is necessary to support individuals in achieving independent functioning. Employment Specialist may provide all or some of the following: obtain/maintain employment, transportation, and resources fulfilling any basic need. Employment Specialist may also facilitate employment skills training groups and/or utilize other evidenced-based interventions.
On-call responsibilities may be required dependent upon unit protocols. This position may have additional duties associated with providing bilingual communication services and requires the completion of a language competency test.

Second Shift: $3.25
Third Shift: $4.25
Weekend Shift: $5.00
Salary: Starting Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) salary is at $45,689 based on education, but internal applicants are subject to Integral Care's QMHP career ladder
