Administrative Specialist Job Summary:  This position processes all requests for protected health information.  Provides general administrative support to the clinical records department as well as assistance to other units regarding release of information and general record keeping procedures.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong and positive customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills in Windows applications.

Administrative Specialist Education:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent 

Administrative Specialist  License: 

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record. 

Administrative Specialist Experience: 

Required:

  • One year experience in general medical recordkeeping, filing and knowledge of Windows computer applications.

Hours:  Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. 

Salary:  $16.27 an hour.
