Job Summary: Program Managers are responsible for managing services delivery, team operations and ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective.

Responsible for supervision of staff within the specifically assigned service(s) units including, but not limited to, areas of client care, self-care, professional development, time management, performance review and feedback. Identifies and implements strategies for ongoing program development and achievement of contractual and budgetary goals. Engages staff to ensure the highest quality of care and effective use of provider staff time and resources.

This position is within Housing and Homeless services and is based at the Kensington Apartments in Central East Austin. This project works to fill service gaps for adults with a disabling condition(s) and history of housing insecurity. Individuals served present with high vulnerability and complex needs.

This position will require the ability to navigate and collaborate with various community partners and have a working knowledge of best practices for Permanent Supported Housing and the homeless response system. This position will oversee the clinical team at Kensington Apartments which will provide specialized therapeutic support including hoarding intervention, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and eviction prevention to individuals at risk of housing instability.

This position has a broad scope of responsibility and oversight for programs, clinics and personnel and/or carries an individual case load. On-call responsibilities may be required dependent upon unit protocols.

This position may have additional duties associated with providing bilingual communication services and requires the completion of a language competency test.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. 

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Licensed LPC, LCSW or LMFT in the State of Texas. 

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM (with some flexibility). 

Salary: $79,520 - $101,380 annually based on years of licensure.
