Job Summary: The Respite Support Professional (RSP) provides individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) support services in the home and in the community throughout Travis County. The Respite Support Professional is an important and valued team member whose support helps caregivers obtain relief from caregiving responsibilities. The Respite Support Professional delivers services using a person-centered and trauma-informed care approach.
Duties involve assisting clients with daily living activities, help clients work toward goals, support clients with various challenges in home or community locations without on-site direct supervision, which requires use of initiative, knowledge of and access to community resources, and independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
This position works under general supervision of the Respite Support Professional Supervisor. This position requires a flexible work schedule and reliable transportation that will be utilized to transport clients.

Hours: Full-Time.
Workdays: Monday - Friday, and one weekend a month.
Workhours: 8:00AM - 7:00PM (flexed hours).
Salary: $20.03 an hour.
