School Based Therapist (LPHA)

Job Summary: The School-Based Therapist will be responsible for providing mental health services to assigned clients on a campus in Manor ISD. School Based Therapist will provide consultation services to the school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school. The therapist provides direct mental health services to include intake assessment, treatment planning, individual/family/group therapy, and crisis intervention (as needed) to all assigned clients. Therapist will provide consultation for school staff regarding mental health issues of clients (as appropriate). Therapist will see clients face to face at least 20 hours/week and provide complete and timely documentation according to agency guidelines. Therapist will maintain regular contact with the parent/guardian of each client. Integral Care uses an electronic records system. 

Applicants must have strong computer skill and must possess a strong knowledge of the common diagnoses and treatment for school-aged children and possess the skills necessary to facilitate positive change in a school environment

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT.

Experience:

Preferred: 

  • Experience working with youth.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred. 

    Hours: Full-Time.

    Workdays: Monday - Friday.

    Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

    Salary: $64,798.24 - $82,610.32 annually depending on licensure.
