Fleet Manager

Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing the Facility contractors that provide contracted vehicle maintenance services for all vehicles and trailers owned, leased, or managed by Integral Care. Contracted services include but are not limited to vehicle maintenance & repairs, fuel vendors, vehicle suppliers, body work, vehicle inspectors, & State of Texas registration. This position is responsible for Fleet optimization, including analyzing Fleet operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, & optimize vehicle utilization. This position is also responsible for compliance & safety, including ensuring all vehicles meet regulatory requirements, managing driver safety programs, and maintaining accurate records. This position is responsible for vendor management, including negotiating contracts with suppliers, vehicle manufacturers, maintenance providers, & fuel vendors. This position will ensure that all work is performed in compliance with Integral Care policies and procedures and the applicable OSHA standards. This position requires the ability to be on 24-hour call on a rotating basis.

The Fleet Manager will utilize data analytics tools to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for fleet management. The Fleet Manager will provide training and development opportunities for drivers and fleet maintenance staff to enhance skills and promote safety. The Fleet Manager will implement strategies to reduce the environmental impact of fleet operations, such as adopting alternative fuel vehicles or optimizing routes.

The Fleet Manager will develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks related to vehicle accidents, theft, or regulatory non-compliance. The Fleet Manager will collaborate with internal departments, such as Operations, Finance, and Human Resources, to ensure alignment of fleet management goals with overall company objectives.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience:

Preferred:

  • Three years of maintenance experience preferred.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Salary: $26.91 an hour.
