Mental Health Licensed Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)

Job Summary: The Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) serves as an essential clinical team member within the Narcotic Treatment Program, a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) setting focused on supporting individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. The LPHA applies a person-centered and harm reduction approach, prioritizing engagement, safety, and individualized recovery at each participant's pace.

This position integrates evidence-based and trauma-informed practices to reduce the negative impacts of substance use, promote overall wellness, and improve quality of life. Working collaboratively with medical providers, peer specialists, and case managers, the LPHA conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and individualized treatment planning. The LPHA provides counseling services-including individual, group, and family sessions-aimed at recovery, relapse prevention, and management of co-occurring disorders. Additional responsibilities include coordinating care with prescribers and nursing staff to ensure continuity across behavioral health and medical services, offering crisis intervention and psychoeducation, and maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in alignment with program and regulatory standards. 

The LPHA actively participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives and is committed to ongoing professional development in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and integrated behavioral health best practices.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in the Psychology/ Human Services field or similar.

License:

Required:

  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 6:00AM - 3:00PM.

Salary: $53,912.14 - $68,731.78 based on licensure plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
