Job Summary:

The Intake Specialist (LPHA) provides assessments and diagnostic services to children with serious mental illness and their families. The LPHA works in partnership with racially and culturally diverse individuals and families to define and facilitate their desired life outcomes. The LPHA provides diagnostic evaluations and provides assessment of strengths, preferences, challenges and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s). The LPHA may also provide crisis assessment and interventions as needed. The LPHA works on a team with other behavioral health professionals to coordinate client care.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

• Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. Master's degree preferred.

License:

Required:

• Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT.

Experience:

• Working with children & families.

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Hours: Full- Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday

Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM. 

Salary: $67,390.17 $85,914.73 annually, depending on licensed experience.
