Foster Care Therapist/Case Manager

Job Number: 21-545-11122 

Job Summary: The Foster Care Therapist/ Case Manager will be responsible for providing intensive case management services related to the delivery of mental health care to assigned clients in clinic, home and school-based settings. The therapist provides direct mental health services to include intake assessment, individual and family therapy, and crisis intervention.  Therapist will effectively collaborate with the treatment team which may include (but not be limited to): foster parents, CPS, CASA, Child Placing Agency, birth parents, fictive kin, and other mental health professionals.  Therapist will maintain 55% face to face billable hours and provide complete and timely documentation according to agency guidelines. Integral Care uses a computerized medical records system.  Applicants must have strong computer and organizational skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to build strong rapport with youth who present with challenging behaviors.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the common diagnoses and treatment for adolescents.
  • Must have experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and loss. 
  • Must be able to effectively work with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Must be able to effectively partner with families. 

Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. 

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • LPC-A or LMSW

Experience:

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in Spanish

Hours: Full-Time; Monday-Friday. 8:00am-5:00pm.

Salary: Starting Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) salary is at $38,479-$40,739 based on education, but internal applicants are subject to Integral Care's QMHP career ladder.

  • The applicant has the opportunity to work under the supervision of a licensed therapist at no additional cost to obtain clinical hours towards licensure. The applicant also will have opportunities for training in trauma informed clinical modalities.
