Community Support Professional Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide services and supports to assist individuals to live and participate successfully in their homes and community.  Assignments involve supporting people with various challenges in community locations (primarily at Individuals homes) without on-site direct supervision, which requires use of initiative, knowledge of and access to community resources, and independent judgement and problem-solving.  Under the supervision of the program lead.

Community Support Professional Education:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Two years of college coursework or an Associate's degree in business or related field.

Community Support Professional License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Community Support Professional Experience:

Required:

  • Experience in customer service, clerical or administrative support work.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. May vary.

Salary: $15.00 an hour.
