Job Summary: Integral Care's Communications Manager is the writer and project manager of a passionate team that drives all communications, strategy, fundraising and engagement initiatives that improve the health and well-being of adults, children, and families in Travis County. Remote work option available. The Communications Manager:

  • Concepts, writes and edits all agency content including collateral, newsletters, talking points, annual reports, website content, fundraising and conference materials, and social media materials.
  • Develops and manages projects that speak to multiple audiences – clients, staff, collaborators, stakeholders, donors and the general community.
  • Provides creative feedback and direction on print and digital material design.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop collateral.
  • Supports Integral Care fundraising campaigns and strategies.
  • Conducts interviews with Integral Care staff, external stakeholders, collaborators and clients to develop content for communication and fundraising materials.
  • Researches content relevant to Integral Care's work/population served to enhance Integral Care communication, engagement, and fundraising materials.
  • Responds and troubleshoots communications issues as needed.

Education: 

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or other applicable field.

Licenses:

Required:

  • Current and valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Experience:

Required:

  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience in a communications related position.
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in project management.
  • Writings Sample.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of media, behavioral health and local community.
  • Working knowledge of social media management tools. 

Hours: Full-Time; Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

Salary: $63,616 annually.
