Job Summary: This position conducts all training activities and coordination related to the SAMHSA Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) for Service Providers & Families of Armed Service Personnel & Veterans Grant. Establishes cooperative and collaborative partnerships throughout the veteran community to facilitate scheduling of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Veteran-module trainings, and also counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM), the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS), and Safety Planning Intervention (SPI) trainings. Plans and performs all training programs under the grant. Responsible for maintaining the necessary curriculum for MHFA, CALM, C-SSRS, and SPI to meet the needs listed in the grant. Responsible for assisting in collecting and inputting all data as listed in the grant. Veteran status strongly recommended. Training and public speaking experience required. A minimum of three years' experience administering grant related projects working with large data sets, training curriculum development, and coordination of training activities is preferred. Familiarity with substance use, and mental health issues is required. Work is performed under limited supervision with latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule. Workhours: 8:00am-5:00pm.
Salary: $22.35 - $23.47 an hour based on education.
