Licensed Psychological Associate - (LPA)

Job Summary: The Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) position is a clinic-based position within Integral Care's Intellectual and Disability Diagnosis (IDD) division. There is flexibility to work remotely for non-direct clinic hours, at the discretion of the supervisor. The LPA is responsible for determining eligibility for ongoing IDD services for individuals completing the IDD Intake process at Integral Care. The LPA should have experience completing intellectual and adaptive functioning assessments to determine diagnosis or to endorse previously provided diagnoses. The LPA will complete Determination of Intellectual Disability reports in accordance with the HHSC DID Best Practices and 26 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Chapter 304, Diagnostic Assessment. The LPA will work under the supervision of the Lead Psychologist but must be also able to exercise initiative and independent judgment to ensure the requirements of the job are consistently and efficiently met. The LPA will work closely with consumers and families as well community partners and other Integral Care programs to promote continuity of care and prompt access to needed services and supports.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's with a major specialization in Psychology/Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.
  • Education may be substituted for experience. 

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience:

  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Experience completing Determination of Intellectual Disability reports.

Hours: 8:00pm - 5:00pm (Flexible based on Client needs).

Workdays: Monday - Friday (Flexible based on Client needs).

Salary: $71,439.68 - $91,078.00 annually based on education.
