LPHA Team Lead (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) Job Summary:  This position serves as the Team Lead of the Expanded Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (EMCOT). This position works in close collaboration with the management team and other personnel to continuously develop and refine the crisis delivery system. The Team Lead works in conjunction with the Practice Manager supporting community partnerships and developing and innovating best practice models to serve clients expertly. The Expanded MCOT is designed to be immediately available to respond to clients at the site of the crisis, usually with community partners, to collaborate on cases. There is extensive latitude for the exercise of independent judgement. Primary clinical operations of the unit include providing crisis assessments, interventions, and brief follow-up and service linkage to adults and children/youth in community settings in partnership with Emergency Medical services, Austin Police Department, the Travis County Sheriff's Office, and Central Booking. Locations rotate between 5015 S IH 35; Austin State Hospital; and various Emergency Medical Service stations. 

LPHA Team Lead (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. 

LPHA Team Lead (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) License: 

Required:

  • Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record. 
  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT. 

LPHA Team Lead (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) Experience:

Required:

  • Experience performing mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment 
  • Years of experience dependent upon unit needs. 

Preferred: 

  • Bilingual in Spanish 

Hours:  10:00am-8:00pm; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays. Four 10 hour shifts with Thursdays off OR Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00 pm.  Shift receives partial shift differential pay.

Salary:  $60,055 - $68,729 annually, depending on licensed experience.
