Job Summary: The Communications Assistant provides support to the Chief Strategy Officer as well as the Communications, Strategy and Resource Development Team and its Directors. This position requires initiative, critical thinking, multi-tasking, independent decision-making skills, and discretion. At this level, this position is routinely involved with highly sensitive and confidential personnel and program information. The Communications Assistant performs a wide range of complex administrative and technical project oversight to meet the communications, resource development, and strategic goals of Integral Care. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-  Maintain unit budgets

-  Support and plan events, including annual conference and community forums

-  Organize internal and external meetings, including scheduling and ongoing communication with staff and external stakeholders

-  Help organize and compile data, research, and facts as well as create presentations

-  Lead special projects that require a combined knowledge of administrative needs and technical operations

-  Manages SharePoint and Intranet page

-  Manage payment of invoices with accounts payable office

-  Manage inventory and distribution of agency collateral

-  Manage community and employee feedback loop

-  Track media coverage and agency online presence

-  Supports social media efforts as needed

The Communications, Strategy and Resource Development Team supports Integral Care's mission to improve the lives of adults and children living with mental illness, substance use disorder and intellectual and developmental disabilities, and the fundraising efforts of the agency. They develop and implement all external and internal communications strategies, raises funds for programs, and helps ensure agency and community-wide strategies are met for Integral Care.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties maybe assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major course work in a filed related to the program.

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience:

Preferred:

  • ┬ĚThree years of progressively responsible experience in general office administrative work.

Hours: Full-time; Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm 

Salary: $22.93 per hour
