Education: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field is required.  Master's degree preferred.

Description: The QMHP is responsible for ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective. This position works in close collaboration with the Probation Department and other criminal justice partners.  Staff must develop extensive knowledge of community resources, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and cultivate a clinical skill-set by forging therapeutic relationships with diverse community members. The QMHP participates in diagnostic evaluations and provides assessment of strengths, preferences, functional impairments and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s) to ensure optimal and personalized services. This position follows identified strategies for achievement of unit performance measures and ensures the highest quality of care while effectively utilizing resources.

This position may carry an individual case load.  On-call responsibilities may be required dependent upon unit protocols.

One to two years direct client care experience in mental health field is preferred.  Education may be substituted for experience.  Bilingual preferred.

License(s): Center certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) is required.  Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required. 

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Salary: Starting Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) salary is at $38,479-$40,739 based on education, but internal applicants are subject to Integral Care's QMHP career ladder.
