Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Nursing is preferred.
Description: SAMHSA/CCBHC Registered Nurse- Will enhance access to primary care integration in all applicable settings. The RN will provide care planning and coordination of general health care, training and education to clients. The RN will provide services in a clinical environment, the community, and where individuals receive services and/or live. The RN will provide education for behavioral health symptomology, chronic medical conditions and medication compliance. RN will educate client on lab results and their specific health goals. Will be responsible for ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective.
The RN will perform comprehensive health assessments that include: (1) attention to an individual's behaviors that affect health, (2) history and family history of behavioral health and medical conditions and (3) an understanding of social and cultural factors that impact the individual's health.
License(s): Required to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required.
Hours: Full-Time; Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Salary: $26.73-$34.99 an hour.
