Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist position is accountable for the administration of Human Resources functions such as on-boarding, recruitment, compensation/classification, employee relations, and benefits. Duties may include vetting candidates for employment, including volunteers and interns, processing, tracking and reporting on all personnel work orders submitted via the HRIS and/or by other electronic systems, work closely with the Budget Office to ensure funding is in place for requested changes affecting salaries, on-board new hires, assist with the application and/or recruitment process, coordination of candidate pre-employment screenings, monitor, track and report on employee ADA and FMLA status. This position may assist in developing detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.

The Human Resources Generalist position supports the HR Department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience and maintains ongoing rapport with the public, staff and management to ensure superb customer service. The Human Resources Generalist communicates, interpret Integral Care's HR policies and procedures and provides high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues. This position works under general supervision, with a high degree of initiative and reports to the Director of Human Resources. 

HR Generalist Education:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.

HR Generalist License: 

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred:
  • PHR/SHRM Certification. 

HR Generalist Experience:

Required: 

  • Three years of progressive Human Resources experience.

Preferred: 

  • Four plus years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in Recruitment, FMLA, EEOC, TWC.

Hours:  Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. 

Salary:  $59,473 annually.
