Job Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO)  is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, financial audit liaison, internal control, accounts payable, cash management, payroll, tax return preparation and compliance with Internal Revenue Code, maintenance of the automated financial system, oversight of the Director of Budget and Financial Analysis, Director of Accounting, and Director of Reimbursement regarding all financial matters of the center, and maintain a positive work relationship and service with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Trustees. The CFO provides management oversight for the development of high quality, cost effective, and integrated programs. The CFO develops strategic and operational plans for Budget and Financial Analysis Department, and Accounting Department. The CFO is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of Integral Care including management of the profit and loss statement for the organization, as well as the resources associated with Integral Care operations. The CFO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of complex financial management systems, budgeting, resource and philanthropic development, and corporate compliance in non-profit healthcare systems essential.
  • Ability and skills to effectively build, facilitate, and empower staff and teams (both vertically and horizontally) at Integral Care.
  • Ability and skills in communication with people of diverse backgrounds, education, and experience, including cross-cultural communication skills and ability.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present complex financial and operational concepts to the community, the Board of Trustees, and standing sub-committees of the Board.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with federal, state, and local funding processes
  • Professional competence in accounting, financial management and administration, including knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles of enterprise, governmental and non-profit accounting and reporting, automated financial databases, banking and investments, basic statistical analysis, capital project accounting, taxation issues, internal control, and efficiency of accounting operations.
  • Ability to represent Chief Executive Officer in Federal, State, and local interactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining an organization that is compliant with all federal and state laws and regulations relating to the provision of behavioral healthcare.

Education:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or equivalent management degree.

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or equivalent management degree.

License: 

Required:

  • Must be currently credentialed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Preferred:

  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).

Experience:

  • At least seven years' experience in senior management/administrator role in a complex healthcare system
  • Eight to ten years' related experience with and knowledge of the financial statement process.
  • Experience with banking, capital markets, and other investment decisions. 

Hours:  Full-time; 

Workdays; Monday-Friday, 

Workhours; 8:00am-5:00pm. 

Salary:  $173,580 annually.
