Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Job Summary: This QMHP position is within our crisis services division and housed at our Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) clinic. The position is a great fit for an experienced bachelor level or new master level counselor looking to expand on skills in bio psycho social assessments, risk of harm formulations, crisis intervention, and community mental health. You will be joining a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of both licensed and unlicensed counselors and case managers, peer support specialists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and a psychiatrist. The QMHP's duties may include and are not limited to providing continuity of care services, linking consumers and families to all needed resources, and coordinating, monitoring, and updating services and consumer goals. Providing necessary skills training, assisting in crisis prevention, and/or providing community outreach are additional roles. As a team member of programs in crisis services, the QMHP coordinates crisis intervention tools to address client's needs utilizing assessment, multidisciplinary coordination, and efficient clinically appropriate utilization of agency resources. Duties include collaboration with consumers, first responders, and community stakeholders to address immediate mental health crisis and plan for future crisis relapse prevention.
This position follows identified strategies for achievement of unit performance measures and ensures the highest quality of care while effectively utilizing resources.
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Education:
Hours: Full-time; 12p-10pm, Rotating days off with weekends in the rotation OR fixed schedule Sun-Wed OR fixed schedule Wed-Sat.
Salary: Starting Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) salary is at $38,479 - $40,739 based on education, but internal applicants are subject to Integral Care's QMHP career ladder. Plus an additional 10% crisis service stipend.
