Intake Therapist

Job Summary:

The Intake Specialist performs mental health assessments which includes completing a client history, gathering demographic information and information about several life domains from youth and family member(s), administration and scoring of assessment tools, and assigning one or more preliminary diagnosis.

Experience in psychosocial assessment, mental status examinations, childhood emotional disorders, and diagnostic criteria (DSM V) are essential. Knowledge of community resources a plus.  Integral Care uses a computerized medical records system. Applicants must have strong computer skills. 



  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. 



  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • LPC, LMFT or LMSW 



  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Two years' experience working with children and their families.

Hours: Full-Time; Monday-Friday. 8:00am-5:00pm.

Salary: $55,602 -$63,616.

  • For specific positions, additional compensation may be available to those who are bilingual in both English and one of the following languages:  Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Burmese.
