Job Summary: The School-Based Therapist joins a team of over 30 other therapists serving our area. The School Based Therapist will be located in Del Valle ISD and will provide direct mental health services to referred students including intake assessment, individual/family/group skills training, and crisis intervention. This is an excellent way to earn hours towards licensure. Therapist will also provide consultation for school staff regarding mental health issues of clients (as appropriate). Therapist will provide at least 20 hours of face-to-face time each week with clients and complete documentation in a timely manner per agency guidelines. Therapist will maintain regular contact with the parent/guardian of each client. Integral Care uses an electronic medical record system. Applicants must have strong computer skills and have experience working with youth, skills to establish positive relationships with school personnel, and ability to work independently.
This position may have additional duties associated with providing bilingual communication services and may require the completion of a language competency test. On-call responsibilities may be required dependent upon unit protocols.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Salary: $22.35 - $23.47 an hour based on education.
