Education: Master's Degree in Social Services, Counseling or Social Work Required.
Experience: This position is perfect for master's Level therapists wanting to obtain hours to work towards their license. The School-Based Therapist will be joining a great team of therapists who deliver mental health care in Del Valle, Manor and Pflugerville ISD. The school-based therapist is responsible for providing services related to the delivery of mental health care to assigned clients on one or two campuses and will provide consultation services to the school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school. The therapist provides direct mental health services to include intake assessment, individual/family/group therapy, and crisis intervention and treatment plan reviews for all assigned clients. Therapist will provide consultation for school staff regarding mental health issues of clients (as appropriate). Therapist will maintain at least 55% of face to face billable hours and provide complete and timely documentation according to agency guidelines. Therapist will maintain regular contact with the parent/guardian of each client. Integral Care uses a computerized medical records system. Applicants must have strong computer skills.
Must possess a strong knowledge of the common diagnoses and treatment for school-aged children and possess the skills necessary to facilitate positive change in a school environment.
Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday.
Salary:Starting Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) salary is at $38,479-$40,739 based on education, but internal applicants are subject to Integral Care's QMHP career ladder.
