Quality Systems Database Administrator Job Summary: The Managed Care Quality Analyst position in the Quality Systems Department and reports directly to the Quality Manager. The position maintains the FTP Database and track the receipt of Provider forms, report metrics on forms received and notify providers when required forms are missing.  Provide technical expertise to problem solve with issues on the FTP site and set up folders/new users as requested.  Ensure removed files are backed up for historical preservation.

In the AZ Tejas system, input all rate changes and new provider or provider services into the system.  Provide a monthly report on all changes and corrections to changes when requests are incorrect when received.  Test utilities, troubleshoot and work with Cerner to resolve issues to make utility operational.

Incident Report Database system, input all new providers into system and provide system access as requested.  Download monthly or as necessary the Integral Care staff roster with emails and supervisor links to ensure all staff have access to the system for filing incident reports.  Provide training to providers and staff as requested.

Customer Satisfaction Surveys:  Coordinate efforts to collect data.  Review incoming responses and provide timely feedback to the units.  Report totals to meet contractual numbers requirements and the overall satisfaction rate of the surveys.  Provide support to the Quality Manager on special projects and other tasks as required.

This position requires the ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, independently problem solve and excellent time management skills.

Please Note: this position is not a software position requiring SQL coding or other advanced coding knowledge.

Quality Systems Database Administrator Education:


  • A Bachelor's degree (with course work in statistics and quality assurance preferred).


  • Master's degree

Quality Systems Database Administrator License: 


  • Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record. 

Quality Systems Database Administrator Experience: 


  • A minimum of three years of experience in Access and Excel, including test file formatting for importing and exporting data. 
  • A minimum of one-year experience in Health Plan or government/non-profit agency data analysis and database administration. 

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

Salary:  $51,985 annually.
