Peer Support Specialist

Job Summary: The Peer Services Provider will work one-on-one with students on high school campuses who walk in, facilitate groups, and work in coordination with the school based mental health personnel (psychologists, social workers, counselors). 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one peer services to high school students concerned about anxiety, depression, substance use or other mental health concerns
  • As needed organize group peer support
  • Coordinate and refer to on-campus mental health staff as needed 



  • High School diploma or GED


  • Certification as a CPS, PRSS, MHPS or RSPS



  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.



  • Must be willing to identify as a person with lived experience in and recovery from a mental health diagnosis and/or substance use challenge.
  • Passion for peer work and serving adolescents.

Hours: Full-time; Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Salary: $32,685 - $38,479.
