Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Description: The primary purpose of the LVN position is to provide general nursing care, administer medication and training to clients in a clinical environment. At this level, work is performed under moderate supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The LVN works under the direction of the RN, MD. This position is responsible directly to the assigned RN Supervisor, and program Manager.
1-2 years' experience providing direct care to persons with substance abuse, mental illness, or intellectual/developmental disabilities required. Three years' experience preferred. Education may be substituted for experience.
License(s):Required to be licensed as an LVN in the State of Texas. Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required.
Hours: Part-Time; Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am-6:00pm.
Salary: $21.64-$24.64 an hour. This position is also eligible for shift differential pay.
