Licensed Counselor/Therapist Team Lead

Licensed Therapist Job Summary: Licensed Counselor Team Leads are responsible for leading the team's service delivery and ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective. Licensed Counselor Team Leads operate in a dynamic environment, develop extensive knowledge of community resources, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and cultivate a clinical skill-set by forging therapeutic relationships with diverse community members. Licensed Counselor Team Leads participate in diagnostic evaluations and provide assessment of strengths, preferences, functional impairments and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s) to ensure optimal and personalized services. 

Identifies and implements strategies for ongoing program development and achievement of unit performance measures. Engages staff to ensure the highest quality of care and effective use of provider staff time and resources. This position is responsible for oversight of assigned program and personnel and may carry an individual case load. May be responsible for supervision of staff within the assigned unit including, but not limited to, areas of client care, self-care, professional development, time management, performance review and feedback. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Possess extensive knowledge of current DSM diagnostic criteria and ability to evaluate consumers on a quarterly basis. 
  • Effectively communicate their clinical impressions, assess the strengths and functional impairments of those they serve and collaborate with racially and culturally diverse individuals to achieve their goals. 
  • Collaborate professionally with an interdisciplinary treatment team and be adaptable to a wide variety of service environments and rapidly evolving clinical circumstances. 
  • Be prepared to interact with emergency medical and psychiatric service providers to ensure the safety of Integral Care staff and individuals served. 
  • Possess computer skills necessary to document work performed and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently to complete all assessments, documentation, and other tasks in a timely manner. 

Licensed Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) Education: 

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

Licensed Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) License:

Required:?? 

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT.

Licensed Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) Experience:

Required:

  • Experience performing mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment 
  • Years of experience dependent upon unit needs.

Hours: Full-Time; Monday-Friday, with flexibility. 

Salary: $68,729 annually.
