Education: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
Description: This position is located within Supported Employment Program of Adult Behavioral Health and reports directly to Supported Employment Manager. The primary purpose of the position is to help consumers find and keep competitive employment that is consistent with their own vocational goals. In doing so, this position will take into account consumers' functional impairments and assist them with coordinating appropriate services and providing necessary skills training to facilitate each consumer's success in achieving and maintaining the maximum possible level of independent employment. Services will focus primarily on assisting consumers with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use issues in developing the skills necessary to obtain/maintain employment, and may also include service coordination with primary providers to assist the consumer obtain/maintain housing, or to obtain services such as medical care, dental care, food, clothing, utilities, financial assistance, transportation, legal assistance, or services related to any other basic human need in the interest of obtaining and maintaining employment. At this level, caseloads are relatively stable with moderate need for crisis intervention. Work is performed under the general supervision of the program manager with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This position requires the transportation of consumers in personal vehicle. Minimum two years direct client care experience in mental health or IDD services required. Education may be substituted for experience.
License(s): Center certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) required. Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required.
Salary: Starting Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) salary is at $38,479-$40,739 based on education, but internal applicants are subject to Integral Care's QMHP career ladder.
