Education: Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field is preferred.
Description: This position provides screening, psycho social assessment, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning and case management to a caseload of 15 individuals who have been diagnosed with substance use and psychiatric disorders. Services are provided in the home and community. Services are done by providing on going assessment of the individual's readiness for change, motivational interviewing, counseling, and skills training to assist clients in maintaining residence in the community by accessing medical, social, financial, mental health, and or substance abuse services. Must have knowledge and expertise in stages of change and motivational interviewing. Understanding major mental illnesses (symptoms and treatment) very helpful.
License: LCDC-CI (Graduate Intern), LCDC, or LMSW required. Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Salary: $17.85-$20.44 an hour based on education and experience.
