Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Graduated from an accredited post-secondary Medical Assistant program.
Description: This position is located within the Housing and Homeless Services division. This division supports multiple teams providing services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability within Travis County. The position will be housed at the new Terrace at Oak Springs Clinic, located at 3000 Oak springs Drive, Austin, TX 78702. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of highly complex administrative and clerical work, while supporting the daily operational needs of the clinic. Position responsibilities will include facilitating client flow at the clinic, answering/routing calls, clinical chart audits, running reports, billing, record keeping, scheduling via inter and intra agency Electronic Health Records. Additional duties may include preparing check requests, data entry into various databases to track program entry/exit and preparing reports for tracking program metrics as directed to determine the efficacy of program interventions and to meet grant requirements all in support of the Terrace at Oak Springs Clinic operations.
Three years of progressively responsible experience in general office administrative work is preferred. Three years of successful experience in customer service.
License(s): Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Salary: $16.27 an hour.
