911 Mental Health Triage Specialist (QMHP)

Job Summary: Integral Care's team at the 911 Call Center seeks to provide people with professional mental health care at the time of crisis and decrease law enforcement intervention whenever possible.  This groundbreaking project is made possible through Integral Care's collaboration with community partners who are dedicated to bringing quality mental health care to individuals and their families experiencing a mental health crisis. The goal is to ensure individuals in our community receive professional mental health services from the time they call 911 to the time a mental health professional arrives to assist and support the individual experiencing a mental health crisis. This position will be imbedded within the 911 Call Center (aka: Combined Transportation and Emergency Communications Center) and will be responsible for provision of clinical screening, consultation, and referrals.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree, with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. 

Preferred:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree, with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. 

Licenses:

Required:

  • Current and valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Center certification as a Qualified Mental Health Profession (QHMP). (This certification will be provided by Integral Care if educational requirements are met.)

Hours: Full-Time; Workhours; 6am-6pm (Three days per week), Workdays; 3 days per week, Saturday 2 days. (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday)

Salary: $22.35 - $23.47 an hour based on education. "Internal applicants are subject to Integral Care's QMHP career ladder".
