Job Summary: The Residential Care Assistant Team Lead position is located at the Therapeutic Diversion Program (TDP). This program serves up to 25 adult clients residing at TDP. The primary purpose is to be an example of professional care for clients, to help train other Residential Care Assistant Staff, to ensure the completion of tasks and to ensure a smooth transition between shifts. This position will work in collaboration with the other Shift Lead staff and under supervision of the Practice Manager for TDP.
The duties of the Residential Care Assistant Team Lead include supporting staff on shift, ensuring shift duties are completed, monitoring the status of kitchen supplies and ordering of unit food and supplies as needed. The Residential Care Assistant Team Lead also assist, observe and supervise residents in order to maintain appropriate safety care and guidance with some ability to perform rehabilitative direct client-care work, assisting adult individuals with mental health and/or substance use diagnosis with their daily care needs and routines, to include safety checks, observing clients' self-administration of medication, client transportation, pick up/drop offs, cooking, cleaning, support with attending and engaging in programming milieu, etc. The position requires staff to foster, motivate and promote positive interactions and intervene in crisis de-escalation as well as encourage clients' participation in social and developmental activities within the program perimeters. This work is performed under the supervision of the unit leadership. The Crisis Residential Assistant Team Lead must be able to work independently, under the direction of the supervisor(s), within a team dynamic and structure of the therapeutic environment of care.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Salary: $23.02 an hour, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
Position may be eligible for an additional shift differential pay.
