Project Lead - Optimization Initiatives

Job Summary: The Project Lead for Optimization Initiatives is responsible for leading agency-wide performance improvement and service optimization initiatives at Integral Care. Reports to the Provider Network Authority Officer, this position applies Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies and active PMP certification to plan, execute, and close complex projects on time and within budget. Primary focus areas include Lean for Healthcare initiatives, reduction of access delays, enhancement of crisis response pathways, continuity-of-care redesign, revenue cycle optimization, provider network enhancement, and regulatory compliance projects aligned with multiple performance contracts, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) standards, and Joint Commission requirements.

The role requires collaboration with clinical, quality, IT, finance, and community stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes such as reduced wait times, improved client satisfaction, increased service capacity, and sustainable cost savings. The Project Manager will facilitate Rapid Improvement Events, value stream mapping, A3 problem-solving, and change management activities while maintaining comprehensive project documentation, risk mitigation strategies, and executive-level reporting.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree with major specialization in a social, behavioral, or human services field of study is required. Master's degree preferred.

License: 

  • Licensure in the State of Texas as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Ph.D. and clinical supervision experience is preferred.
  • PMP Certification required. Lean for Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record. 

Experience: 

  • Minimum of five years' experience working as a project manager in a healthcare setting.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Salary: $86,008.83 annually.
