Program Manager - IDD Crisis

Job Summary: The Program Manager will oversee all aspects of IDD Crisis Services. They will be responsible for the quality of services provided to people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), complying with all State, Local and Federal rules and regulations; and the fiscal health of the programs. This position oversees the daily operations, contractual obligations, and budgetary needs for each IDD Crisis program. The position is responsible for providing sound leadership and supervision, managing the area budget, continuously improving service practices, and participating in Center and community-wide planning. This position performs work duties with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Effective in leading professional teams.
  • Skilled in navigating complex support systems, including paid supports, families, and individuals in services.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and non-Medicaid services, ability to manage service system that meets these program requirements.
  • An effective communicator, with excellent writing and oral communication skills.
  • Organized and able to keep up in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter who enjoys a career where no two days are the same.
  • Detail-oriented and excels in documentation, time-management and delegation.
  • Responsive to deadlines.
  • Skilled in Microsoft office applications and can easily learn additional software skills.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree is required with a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field. Master's degree preferred.

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience:

  • Two years' experience working with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or in a mental health setting, crisis services, mobility impairments, dual diagnoses and/or hearing impairments, required.
  • One to two or more years of professional experience in crisis related services preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Salary: $82,700.80 - 105,435.20 annually.
