Practice Manager

Job Summary: This position is for a short term crisis stabilization unit of both voluntary(12) and involuntary(4) admissions for adult individuals experiencing a mental health crisis episode. The Practice Manager (PM) is responsible for the quality management of business operations for the following services delivery; provides clinical guidance, direction and supervision to staff to ensure the delivery of quality client care and implementation of processes. This position has a broad scope of responsibility and oversight of the program and personnel and/or may also provide direct clinical care, as needed, which may include the development and implementation of new or expanded services in designated areas of responsibility. The PM will engage staff to ensure the highest quality of care and effective use of staff time and resources.

This position has the responsibility for program planning, inter-agency relations, resource development and acts as liaison with relevant external constituents in a progressive, positive and professional manner. This position is accountable to ensure efficient and effective use of provider staff time and resources. The PM establishes and maintains highest standards for quality care and ethical practice.

On-call responsibilities may be required. The Practice Manager may recruit, interview and hire appropriate staff for the unit. This position may have additional duties associated with providing bilingual communication services, if/as applicable, which would require the completion of a language competency test.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Licensed LPC, LCSW or LMFT in the State of Texas.

Experience:

Required:

  • Must have a minimum of three years' experience working with individuals in treatment for behavioral health disorders
    and/or recovery.
  • Clinical supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual preferred.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday. 

Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Salary: $83,496 - $106,448 annually based on years of licensure, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
