Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Description: This position is located at the Mood Disorder (Bipolar) Clinic, at the University of Texas Medical School, Health Discovery Building and is a joint program between UT Health Austin and Integral Care. This position requires cross training of clerical front office and medical support services. Occasionally travel may be required between sites and performance of both clinical and clerical duties. Responsibilities includes participating collaborative team model in areas related to front office functions, areas of client care such as obtaining vital signs, responding and assisting with medical and/or behavioral health emergencies. Primarily duties will involve facilitating client flow. The position is responsible directly to the assigned RN Supervisor, and indirectly to the Director of Nursing (DON) for clinical performance and to the Unit Director/Manager for operational and administrative areas. Three years of progressively responsible experience in general office administrative work. Three years successful experience in customer service. Two years of experience in multi-line telephone system. Education and experience may be substituted for one another.
License(s): Medical Assistant certification/license is required. Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record required.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
Salary: $16.27 an hour.
