Job Summary: Responsibilities, support equipment delivery and handling process answer all helpdesk phone calls and provide technical assistance (Tier 1 & 2) and support related to computer and phone systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer and phone systems, software, and hardware. Primary responsibilities are but not limited to;

  • Unpack equipment boxes, label and prep for accounting
  • Train computer users when needed.
  • Set up email accounts/assign user passwords
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Issue employees computers and peripherals
  • Install, modify, issue, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
  • Answer all helpdesk calls
  • Any other assigned duties necessary for MIS operations 

Education:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

License: 

Required:

  • Current and valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record. 

Experience: 

Required: 

  • Direct work experience in computer hardware and software installation, help desk, Microsoft Office 365, and/or maintenance.

Preferred:

  • Two years formal electronics training or two years college/business school

Hours: Monday - Friday

Salary: $18.22 an hour.
