External Affairs and Public Relations Manager

Job Summary:  The External Affairs and Public Relations Manager will serve as a key ambassador for Integral Care and will play a critical part in advancing strategic communications, enhancing executive visibility, and managing media relations. The position is responsible for ensuring that Integral Care's mission, values, and priorities are effectively communicated to external audiences, fostering trust and reinforcing the organization's reputation within the community and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write thought leadership content to elevate brand authority and ensure that communications are consistent, professional, and aligned with both internal goals and public-facing strategies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy that enhances the visibility and reputation of Integral Care.
  • Coordinate media requests, pitch stories, and collaborate on interviews and event coverage.
  • Build and maintain relationships with podcast hosts, journalists, influencers, and event coordinators to expand media reach.
  • Support media training for the executive leadership team and Board members.
  • Pitch newsworthy stories to media outlets, including digital, broadcast, radio, and print.
  • Attend community and sponsored events to represent the organization and ensure proper media coverage.
  • Respond to media requests and coordinate interviews.
  • Track Public Relations efforts and reports on key performance indicators.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

License:

Required:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience working in communications, media relations, public relations, or related field.

Hours: Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday - Friday.

Workhours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Salary: $82,700.40 annually.
